Targeted at the public, researchers and school children, this multimedia resource provides multiple ways of engaging with this fascinating piece of history through interactive maps, videos, timelines, text content, artefacts, photographs and more.

The BBC
I was asked to represent The University of Manchester speaking as a web expert on BBC Radio on their topical "Drive Time" show in Manchester. I was interviewed about Google's aquisition of YouTube and general Web 2.0 issues.

The University of Manchester
An interactive map of the world for primary school students. It uses the latest Adobe Flash video technologies to demonstrate each of the 21 languages to the child through 6 or 7 phrases, with fun facts about each country and language.

PC Extreme Magazine
A six page “cover feature” article for PC Extreme magazine. It discussed the history and use of open source software, including alternatives for popular commercial packages. Much software was included on the special edition cover disc which I also produced.
